God's provision for His direction

So literally I started my adoption journey with $3,000 from an insurance claim/rear-ending accident on my way to work one night. I thought to myself: "This will be put away for a possible adoption application"... And $22,000 later I am just waiting for a call that tells me to come pick up my baby girl.
God's provision really amazes me. Why does it? He says He will provide for us. We see it over and over again in Scripture where He calls His people to do something and then provides the means to do so.
Why do I stand in awe each time!?
It's not just money I am talking about; it's passion, it's energy, it's guidance, it's grace...It's Him living through us to help the world He created and loves to see Him more clearly. He gives us all that we need in Christ Jesus to fulfill His will.
How gracious of Him to use broken, weary, empty, ugly vessels like us to show His beauty.
That makes it even more beautiful.
I was re reading Hebrews 11 recently. I just love this chapter. So many have gone before us walking in faith. So clearly in so many of their stories the Lord directs and then provides for them. It didn't mean life was easy. It didn't mean they knew what was going on all the time. It didn't mean they weren't scared or frustrated. But they just kept their eyes on the Lord. And He provided.

"...And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight. Women received back their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth." Heb 11:32-38

That is truly life. Living in the miraculous power of the Lord.
I pray that all of you see the Lord's provision today in where He has directed you to be. Sometimes it is small, some times you can't miss it... but whatever it might be for you today- I just pray you see it and stand in awe of Him!
A huge "thank you" to all who have been a part of me and baby Barnes' story thus far. Keep  praying!!!! I will keep you posted.
