Thoughts and a HUGE praise report!

"Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead" Acts 26:8

Sometimes I think we place God in a box. I know I do at least. Paul was talking here to King Agrippa and asking a rhetorical question- why should the religious people of God be surprised that God raises the dead (speaking of the resurrection of Jesus and His Lordship). God even told them through scripture of His plan, but they did not believe.
I wonder how often we see God working plainly in front of us but do not believe.Or how often we give God parameters in how He must work.
Our God does not stay inside of a man made box. And we can praise Him for that!
This verse reminded me of a conversation I was having last week with two good friends. Beth was paraphrasing a teaching she had heard and the gist of it was "don't try and predict future grace"... in other words- we often put even the grace God has to give to us in a box and we tell Him how we would like it given to us, or how we see His hand interceding in our life. But how silly of us, have we forgotten the scripture "...now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine..." (eph 3:20)? MORE than we ask or can imagine.
I think He waits to do more. What if He is just waiting for us to ask Him to give us His grace how He sees it coming to us- not how we have His blessings or interventions planned out in our head?
What if we vowed to just follow Him and step out in faith wherever He leads us? What box would He break through? How much trust would be built? What beauty would we see? How many lives could be changed?
Lets ask Him to break those boxes that we try to contain Him in. Lets ask that we live in a present state of Grace, receiving from Him all that He has for us in that moment. Let us live radically, no boxes allowed.

On that note... I also wanted to just give God the praise for our little Naya Rose who will be leaving the hospital on Saturday after our 5 month stay. God has broken out of so many "boxes" as we have lived there all these months. I can honestly say that no doctor that worked on her for the first month or so predicted that a little girl would be leaving their hospital full of life... but we are going home- And she is so full of life!
Praise be to God the only One who could save her!
